Earthbound: best rpg ever?
I know what your thinking. You saw the title of this article and thought "What is this guy talking about? Sure it was a good SNES game but best ever? Where's the graphics, where's the innovative battle system,or how about multiple playable and main characters as in other fine RPG's? Is there at least multiple endings?" Well, none of that is in Earthbound, but it was definitely the greatest in this gamer's mind because what other run of the mill RPG's didn't have, Earthbound did have. From the modern-day suburban world, to the humor, which definitely lightens up a game when the game gets too serious. Another rare feature in the game was to be able to play after you essentially beat the game's boss. Even in the newest RPG's this ability is not found.
You may disagree with me and that's fine, but if you do, e-mail mail me and tell me why. Yes, It may be underrated, have bad graphics, and an old battle system, but what it has shines above anthing the other RPG's have ever offered.
